Dents are pulled, filler is shaped and sanded flat, every panel that is not being sprayed is taped and papered off, then primer, colour and clear go on in the booth. Rushing any of it shows in the paint. That is why the car in the photo above spent longer under paper than under the gun.

01Paper and tape over everything that is not getting colour. Edges are taped tight so there is no fog line on the next panel.
02Bonnet up, engine bay papered, the front end shaped, sanded flat and primed. The paper stays on through all of it.
03Colour matched to the paint code, then clear coat. The bumper comes off and is sprayed on its own so the edges are clean.
04Paper off, bumper back on, then machine polished once the clear has cured so the new panels match the gloss of the old ones.
Dust in wet paint is the most common fault in a yard respray. Dhascol sprays indoors, with the panel wiped down and the sprayer masked up, and the difference is what you see in the finish.

Chalky roofs and bonnets from years of sun. Cut back and resprayed, or polished where the clear coat is still sound.
Machine polish to bring back gloss and take out swirl marks, light scratches and the haze that makes a car look older than it is.
Yellowed, cloudy lenses sanded and refinished so they are clear again, without replacing the lamp.
